Meet Amy

I’m Amy Hobson, and I’ve spent the last 25+ years walking alongside people who want to grow emotionally, mature spiritually, and develop stronger, healthier relationships. I hold a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from Baylor University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I’m trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Prepare/Enrich, and more.

I’ve worked in a wide range of environments—from private practice and higher education, to residential care, churches, and nonprofits. That variety has helped me understand the depth and nuance of what shapes people, and how healing and growth can look different in every season.

My approach integrates therepeutic models with Christian spiritual formation. While I have a Master's degree in counseling, I practice as a personal and relationship development coach, not as a licensed therapist. I bring thousands of hours of counseling and coaching experience, along with a deep desire to see people flourish. I believe that every person has purpose and significance, and every circumstance is an invitation to grow.

What I love most is sitting with people in the sacred spaces of their story—naming what’s shaped them, making sense of what they’re carrying, and exploring how God might be inviting them to grow. My role is to help you uncover what’s driving you, develop clarity, and move forward with emotional and spiritual maturity.

On a personal note, I have been married for twenty years and am the proud mom of four teenagers, a daughter and three sons.

I’d be honored to step into your story.
